How the human family can do better

Most people on a gap year are content with just seeing the world and not to try and change it. But on her return, Maggie decided to start a school in Nepal.

    Hello Maggie,
Truely inspirational! I think you have made some people really look in the mirror.

Helping kids will indeed make a better world. I wish I could somehow help you, but I seem to be so caught up in the matrix of our daily routine with our own families, kids and work. I am a mother of 2 and feel that every child in this world deserves to be loved and educated. I praise you for your work and you certainly have our support.

Thank you so much. You inspire me, going on 17, to consider naeivity and innocence as virtues and ambition as more than just an aspect of the classroom. Perhaps I’ll see the world someday. Perhaps I can make a difference too.

    Hi Maggie
I am from Nepal presently at cologne Germany.Really appreciate your efforts and could not stop my eyes going through your video.Flying hundreds of miles from the fascinating American world to the remote areas of Nepal and serving for the humanity….Your inspiring video has generated much more sense of humanity with in me.The thing you have felt and worked with ..living in the same surrounding i have never thought about. Thanks for your cooperation and support….Hope all the 80 million orphan children around the world get the hope of their life very soon…But the thing is our attitude towards them.Hope your effort gonna help creating this earth a better place to live in.My support is always with you,Thanking you…

  6. Great video! I really like it.

A good one is that you can say having a good education, but not knowing that Nepal is an independent country. That pretty much says a lot to me. :) I would question that system. ;-) One of my favorite quotes fits there: “Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you traveled.” – Mohammed

  7. How inspiring! Thank you Maggie, for all that you do! If only more of us can be like you… You give hope to humanity!
